The hope was for a bright red, but it did not materialize - the hair quickly gained pigment and the color began to fade into burgundy. This prospect did not appeal to me at all, and yet I dyed with henna for almost 3 years, trying (to no avail) to achieve a lighter shade.
Then came the desire to become a blonde, and then a few difficult months when I grew my color (a little less than a year, despite the fact that the hair grows very slowly).
Before the first coloring on the head, it was something like this: 
Light brown roots (about 10-12 cm), then burgundy henna.
With these initial data, I went around several salons before finding a master who not only agreed to lighten me, but also sensibly explained how he would do it, what result can be expected and what risks lightening carries.
