Face Tattoos - Interesting Solutions for Bold and Bright Personalities. Tattoos for men on the face: photos of original tattoos

First of all, we note that face tattoos are a rare and unusual phenomenon. Tattoo in our time is very popular. However, meeting a person with tattoos on his face is still quite difficult.

Initially, the fashion to decorate the face appeared in some subcultures, and it was piercing. Then they noticed that the tattoos look no less impressive.

Ancient people applied drawings to their faces that were quite different from modern ones. So in ancient Polynesia, tattoos were very popular, tattoos were also found on the mummies of Egypt, but all of them were parallel lines or strokes. Rarely, but there were also small drawings or symbols. Now everything is different and on the faces of what you just don’t see!

How practical is such a tattoo? People who are going to make it need to understand that beauty is a subjective concept. This means that the attitude towards your image will be different, ranging from complete rejection to boundless admiration.

A girl with a tattoo on her face must realize that she is taking a risky business. If the drawing does not turn out as we would like, it will be very difficult to correct it. That is why only those people who crave increased attention or those who have a pronounced desire for self-expression decide to decorate themselves in this way.

There are also exceptions. For example, there are a number of small tattoos that will look aesthetically pleasing and elegant on the face. Thanks to them, the attitude in society towards this kind of tattoos is changing for the better.

Images for tattoos are not divided into male or female. So you can meet lovely ladies who put on their faces the same tattoo as Mike Tyson. It is worth noting that if the shape, color and size of the picture is correctly chosen, a girl with a tattoo on her face can look cute.

However, if you are planning to start a family or get a job in a reputable company, it is not recommended to apply face drawings. Successful businesses prefer not to deal with people with any tattoos.

Does it hurt to get a tattoo on your face?

Yes, drawing will be painful. However, each person's experience is different. There are a number of factors that affect the pain of applying an image. One of them is the mental attitude. First of all, we are afraid of the unknown. The first time to get a tattoo is much scarier than the next.

However, if the pain was strong the first time, you can hardly ignore it in the future, and the fear will become even stronger. Thus, to reduce discomfort, set yourself up in a positive way. To do this, you need to have a good rest and get rid of what causes irritation.

Videos face tattoo

Sometimes it happens! Apparently, the guy really wanted to wear glasses, but his eyesight is all right. Therefore, he decided to make himself a tattoo in the form of glasses right on his face.

Below are photos of tattoos on the face from different tattoo artists.

As children, adults told us: “What tattoo?! Here you grow up - and at least prick yourself on your forehead! The “Big Village” found four Samarans who took it and pricked it: we find out what kind of pain - physical and mental - crosses and anchors on the face are, how relatives and passers-by react to them, whether a tattoo changes a person and whether you want to erase all this beauty.

Nastya Rosso

Model

At the age of 15, I came to my tattoo artist and said that I wanted to score a face. He answered with one phrase: “No, damn it, you are too small for this.” I had to persuade him for a long time, and, as it is now noticeable, I succeeded.

I have always been a supporter of such actions, and no one was surprised at my trick: my friends were already used to it, my relatives reacted calmly - everyone except my grandmother. She always wanted to raise a real lady out of me, and when she saw what happened to my face, she was silent for a long time, and then asked if I was injecting heroin. After a negative answer, however, she calmed down and got used to it after a while. I already lived separately from my parents and my grandmother also tried not to be an eyesore.

The first six months I boasted of tattoos. I quickly got used to my reflection and wanted people to pay more attention to me. But a year later, constant glances in my direction began to freeze.

Grandmothers on the street were periodically baptized, some put their grandchildren on the bus, and they also shouted after me so that I would not be fruitful. They reacted to me like a dinosaur.

But young people like my tattoos. I shoot nudes with famous photographers and my photos are popular. Sometimes my tattoos are covered up because they don't fit the concept of a photo shoot - in particular, they do this for collages "before" and "after". But I don’t really like to cover them up: face tattoos are a way to forget about a difficult past. When I cover them up, I remember again the pain and impotence of days that I would like to forget today.

However, recently I covered up the tattoo myself in order to meet the guy's parents. As soon as I got on the subway, I realized that no one was looking at me and I missed that.

At the same time, I never thought about removing tattoos because others do not like them. For me, it's cool and aesthetic, and everything else doesn't matter. I didn't make them for washing. But I don’t know what will happen in the future - people tend to change, and I don’t rule out that I want to remove something from my face or body. I just try to live according to logic: feel yourself, do what you want, and not what others want from you.

I often had to change jobs. For example, when I worked in an apartment sales company, ten deals out of a hundred ended unsuccessfully: employers and customers treated me with prejudice - they thought that because of the tattoos on my face I was incompetent or that I was simply too small for such work. In general, I studied as an actor-director of the theater, but I realized that this was not mine, and consciously left my studies. In a year, I'm going to go to art criticism, because art is what I am.

My body is proof of that. It is full of tattoos. They are everywhere: from the arms and legs to the ribs and pubis. All spontaneous: I never wait a few months before a session, but immediately go and hit. Sometimes it hurts like hell, and sometimes I don’t even notice how everything goes. So it was with the face - I never made a sound in all the sessions. But the most buzz is the feeling after. Every time I look at myself in the mirror and see a new tattoo on my face, I swear happily. And that's all. It is incomparable to anything.

After such tattoos, not only the appearance changes, but also the inner you - you fall into a different caste of people, go beyond what is permitted. When you have a tattoo on your face, you don't care what makeup you go out with and what kind of sneakers you are wearing. My motto in life is just to find yourself. And it doesn’t matter if you have drawings on your body or you wear a leopard coat with striped leggings.

I believe that a tattoo on the face is a slap in the face to society. It turns out that others think more about my life than I do about them.

Pavel Malafeev

Entrepreneur, Harat's employee

At the age of 18, I got my first tattoo on my face - a small anchor. It didn't make much sense, I just liked the nautical theme. The word Trust (translated from English - trust) over the eyebrow, I stuffed, because I think that without this quality, no relationship in society is possible. The white rabbit is a reference to Alice in Wonderland. He is the coolest character who controls time. Rabbit often tells me, whispers in my ear what needs to be done. The sketch, by the way, came to me in a dream. And my strongest tattoo is the cross on my forehead. It shows my attitude towards religion: I respect the story about Jesus Christ, it is my favorite. From it you can draw something that is not visible on the surface.

I decided to score my face and realized that there was nothing to lose - my neck and whole body were covered with tattoos. It all started with music: as a child I was a violinist, and then I began to play the guitar, drums, opened a recording studio, organized concerts. I looked at the downtrodden musicians and thought: “I also want tattoos!”. I liked being visible. In the musical get-together, everyone supported me, but passers-by on the street stared and stumbled. Because of this, I was dumb, so I tried not to travel by public transport, only by taxi. Buses sucked all the energy out of me. Sometimes grandmothers turned into girls, flirted, discussed what kind of boys they were now.

There were no difficulties in finding a job. I found an informal place - Harat's pub. There are no rigid standards here, no one points the finger at you. Before that, I worked at Riverside Tattoo. There was even an action "Let's beat the face for free." According to her, who just did not apply - from teenagers to the elderly. At one point, I had to leave for another job on business, and when I returned, I just went nuts: faces were beaten even by minors. Schoolchildren left the salon with painted eyes on their foreheads. I to the masters: “Are you really something? We'll have problems." But no one complained. For all the time the salon was open, we scored thirty people for sure. We can say that we participated in the birth of a new movement in Samara.

In my tattoo parlor, tattoos were beaten by others, but I noticed that I myself was missing something. The cross on the forehead filled this void, and everything fell into place. It's cool that I'm not one of those guys who dream and hesitate. I'm the one who took and did. In addition, such actions helped me become more self-confident, overcome modesty - I consider this quality superfluous in our world.

Denya Kolchanov

Tattoo master

My girlfriend forbade me to beat tattoos on my face, but I dared. Secretly from her, I came to the salon and asked the master to fulfill my dream. At home, of course, I got a little carried away, but then I thought more about how to explain my choice to my parents. They live in other cities, and I decided to just upload a photo. Mom reacted calmly: she worked as a tattoo artist for a long time - and by the way, she got my first tattoo at the age of 13. Dad looked at the seal of Lucifer on my temple and asked: "Is that a glass?" Most of all, I was ashamed in front of my grandparents, but they just kept silent.

In general, no one made me scandals at home, on the street this is no surprise anymore - every second is downtrodden, and it’s difficult to impress clients - I work in a tattoo parlor. True, after a while, I still began to regret that I had made a tattoo on my face, and I thought about reducing it - I started to have a real social phobia. It's good that my friends convinced me to leave everything as it is: they said that this is a part of me, and without it I will be different.

Recently, I thought that there is a place near my cheek where I would like to fill my hand with a knife. Or a crown of thorns on the forehead. But this is still in my thoughts, the face is pitiful. In general, I began to notice what to do new tattoo for me - how to buy sneakers: for a couple of days you wear them carefully, try not to get them dirty, and then you feel even and you forget about them until the next passerby starts staring at you frankly. When you have 57 tattoos all over your body, it's hard to hide it.

I have one cool tattoo, though not on the face. My ex girlfriend I had a plump girlfriend, and I laughed at her all the time. Once, in order to hook her even more, he stuffed a plump woman in an ice cream cone on his leg, wrote her name and threw it off to her. The girl did not appreciate the joke, but I still really like this tattoo, it reminds me of that friend and fun times.

Problems with law enforcement come up all the time. Every time I ride the train, the police search me. They think I'm driving drugs. For them, a tattoo with a spider on their hands is something from the zone. Because of this, they often put the stigma of a person who has served time on me. Recently I rode the metro near Zvezda. The policewoman gave me a real interrogation, threatened to take me to the police station. I looked at pictures of criminals on the wall and said that I look like one of them - simply because I have too dark hair. When I got tired of looking for leads, I let go, but didn’t explain anything, and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Over time, people on the street stop worrying you: headphones in your ears are a good thing. Adult women and men are increasingly approaching and saying: “Beautiful!”. I am sure that if you are a closed person and treat the comments of passers-by with aggression, then they will treat you the same way. I'm open, so I've never been told that tattoos on my face look creepy.

Almost all of my face tattoos don't make any sense. I have a web with a butterfly and a spider on my head, there is a razor and a knife near the temples - an American old school. It feels like hitting a tattoo on your head is like coming to a session at the dentist, only it’s as if it’s not your teeth that are being treated, but your brain. And also this sound, when the needle knocks on the bone ... I could hardly restrain myself - just so as not to interfere with the master to do the work. At one point, he suggested breaking the session into two parts. But it hurt so much that I said, “No way! I won't take it again."

In this case, it is important to catch the edge and understand when to stop. I won't get a tattoo on my face anymore. Every person has a natural beauty, and if you fill your whole face with ink, then it will disappear, and you will become faceless.

The wide popularity of face tattooing falls on the 60s of the last century. This is due to the movement of subcultures such as punks and rockers. At the end of the last century, piercing was very popular, which later gave way to face tattoos.

Not every even the brightest creative person is ready to decorate his own face with a tattoo, because this area cannot be hidden under clothes. Therefore, in addition to facial tattoos, images stuffed on the neck and behind the ear are popular, where you can hide the tattoo with hair. Cosmetic tattooing of a woman's face is also common. With it, you can adjust the shape of the lips, eyebrows and eyelids. The difference between this type of art and traditional tattooing is that it is intended only to emphasize the natural beauty of a woman's face.

The history of tattoos on the face

The tradition of applying decals and decorations to the body arose several millennia BC. The first mention of them can be found when getting acquainted with the features of the Polynesian, Eskimo and Maya culture. At first, such images were dotted, curved and straight lines. They indicated belonging to a tribe and the status of a person. As decorating elements, tattoos originated in ancient India.

In most ancient cultures, warriors were distinguished by tattooing on the face. Their main goal was to intimidate the enemy. It was believed that the image on the face protected its wearer from evil spirits and was a talisman to attract good luck.

Pros and Cons of Face Tattoos

The undoubted advantage of a successfully applied tattoo on the face is its individuality. The stuffing of the image on the face should be entrusted to a highly qualified master. Such a tattoo indicates a bold, extraordinary and creative person. With this type of jewelry, you can hide defects or scars.

As with all tattoos, images on the face are characterized by negative aspects. These include:

  • pain during the application procedure, because the skin of the face is sensitive and thin;
  • an unprofessional tattoo can spoil the appearance;
  • with age, facial features tend to change, which can distort the image;
  • Facial tattoos can limit access to some serious jobs.

Before choosing a tattoo on the face, you should seriously consider your choice.

Ideas and Meanings of Face Tattoos

Images on the face do not have a conditional division into male and female. Many fragile girls choose masculine tattoos for themselves. An elegant tattoo inflicted by a talented master is not able to spoil the appearance. In addition, the experience of the salon artist will help determine the choice of tattoo sketch and the exact place of application. Girls rarely choose face tattoos, but sometimes images on a woman's face can be brighter and bolder than on a man's.

As a sketch for a tattoo on the face, you can choose laconic monochrome drawings, tribal murals in the form of ornaments, ethnic elements, inscriptions, stars, flowers, symbols of the zodiac signs and large volumetric images. They can be abstract or realistic.

Small tattoos can be applied along the contour of the superciliary arches. You can also place inscriptions here. Drawings and ornaments for tattoos can be with or without meaning.

The meaning of some symbols that can be used to apply to the face:

  • diamond, diamond - a symbol of constancy, honesty and inflexibility;
  • flames - rebirth, renewal;
  • the pentagram pointing upwards is a symbol of protection and harmony;
  • a pentagram with rays pointing down is a symbol of Satan, it is better not to apply such an image;
  • owl - the personification of wisdom and knowledge;
  • crown - power, high status, love;
  • the sun is a symbol of life, light and creation;
  • feather - lightness, peace and tranquility.

There are many ideas for face tattoos. In order not to be disappointed in your choice years later, you need to take a serious approach to choosing a theme and a tattoo parlor. Getting rid of a tattoo on the face is very difficult and troublesome. Therefore, it is necessary to weigh the pros and cons before deciding how to decorate the face.

Photo tattoo on the face of men and women

Tattoos have long ceased to be associated with the prison past or subcultures, even among the older generation, and clogged “sleeves” are not a hindrance when applying for a job. Surprise and increased interest are still caused only by tattoos on the most noticeable parts of the body - for example, on the head or face.

The Village talked to people who were not afraid to decorate their faces with tattoos, and found out how they live and how they deal with the hostility of others.

Berta, 19 years old

A security guard appeared in front of me at the entrance to GUM
and said: " Sorry,
but you can't get in

we don't let those»

I got my first tattoo at the age of 16. All my friends stuffed something small, and I freaked out, went and made myself two Van Goghs - one for each hand. The last tattoo I got was a month and a half ago - these are lines on my face. And this Thursday I am waiting for the next session - I will score one more eye. I do everything from one master, he comes up with a very cool idea. Although I can draw everything myself, I'm an illustrator.

A separate story is connected with the eyes and their image. I was 14 years old, I had problems with sleep, and even socialization was difficult: after all, people around me do not always understand creative people. I had strange dreams: some kind of humanoids, ladies and gentlemen, dressed in dresses and three-piece suits, and instead of faces they had a white sheet, and they all carried small teapots in their hands. Suddenly, a bunch of eyes of different sizes and different colors begin to open on their white empty faces.

These images haunted me for a long time, and I made my eye on my forehead last summer. Excess paint came out with the lymph, and it looked as if the eye was crying black tears. At that time, the employer, for whom I no longer work, just called me and invited me for an interview.

I come with this eye, oozing black tears, to a studio that makes children's cartoons, and they take me there without any problems. The studio is called "Airplane" - it shoots "Fixies". Apparently, in the environment of artists and designers and in the field of film production, everyone absolutely does not care what is written on your face - unless you are an actor or producer, of course.

My left hand is completely tattooed, and I will re-stamp my neck - there is a tattoo that I got ex-husband. A certain number of tattoos are associated with films, games and music, which I have become very attached to. And on my face I have a whole composition - like a visualization of the superego. The eye is an eye, it does not fall asleep and always sees everything, as if being above everything, and never looks into the eyes. I am a very strong Freudian, I even have a portrait of Freud on my arm and a pig in rabbit ears.

Grandmother keeps repeating: "Take this garbage off your forehead." The first three days, when I stuffed, she did not notice at all. I sat next to her, she watched her Petrosian, I stole chips from her, and everything was in order - despite the fact that I had a fresh bright tattoo on my forehead, still shiny from the cream. But then the grandmother suddenly noticed, and since then she has been repeating this “Unstick” all the time.

I don't know about my mother. About 15 minutes before my face was smeared with painkillers, I wrote: "Now I'm getting a tattoo on my face." Then I sent her a photo, my mother answered: “Mm, I see.” Sometimes loved ones have slips like “Look at you, you disfigured yourself.”

I have recently experienced discrimination. At Vyshka, we organized a private screening of the film at the GUM cinema. My friend and I came to the session. Already at the entrance to GUM, a security guard appeared in front of me and said: “Sorry, but you can’t go in, they don’t let them in here.” I clarify: "Which ones?" To which he replies that my appearance is unacceptable and considered indecent. But then another guard came up and reluctantly let us through.

My favorite phenomenon in society is sociable alcoholics. One day at lunchtime, I went out to eat. I go up to the cafe, finish my smoke, and then suddenly a carcass in sky-blue jeans and a denim jacket of the same color falls out into the street - a real Marlboro cowboy. He staggers around me near this cafe, he is shaking, he smells terribly with alcohol.

He stops, looks at me for a long time and gives out: “Do you have an intrapersonal conflict?” It was unexpected - I don’t even remember what I said to him. As he left, he shook his finger at me several times. Perhaps it was a failed psychiatrist.

Tattoos are like icons for me. Only on the icon you show the face of the one who sits upstairs with a beard, and here you depict what is inside you. If we consider this from the point of view of psychoanalysis, then in all the tattoos with which people continue to cover themselves, one can see a very strong connection with the characteristic features of a person.

In general, I think that I can apply for a diploma in psychoanalysis. I even got kicked out of art school for "phallic" eggplants. I didn’t even know the word then, I was 11 years old. We were given the task to draw a still life with eggplants. I started, the teacher came up to me and said: “What did you do? It's obscene! You're actually in a decent place."

Then this woman called other curators, who also made round eyes. And I stand and do not understand anything. It was then that they explained to me that, you see, eggplants are phallic, that I drew something indecent and unacceptable. Ever since then, I've wondered if there are non-phallic eggplants.

It seems to me that I have found my master tattoo artist and he is perfect for me in all respects. I have a lot of tattoos, a bunch of small ones are combined into one big one, so it's hard to count. There are definitely 30 pieces.

I was given anesthesia a couple of times, but it did not work in three places: on the forehead, on the left cheek and somewhere else. It seems to me that the more a person has under the skin, the more it hurts. When they stuffed a tattoo on her stomach, she almost died. After that, she moved for two days, bending over in three deaths. It was so painful that I had to fill in two sessions.

A lot has changed for me after getting tattoos on my face. The eye is an amulet that protects from idiots. With these tattoos, you immediately begin to understand how a person treats you, what he thinks about you, why he communicates with you and what he generally needs from you. They often began to take pictures of me in the subway - it terribly infuriates. A photo of my sleepy face even appeared in the public “Moscow Metro Fashion”. But I have become much less complexes. A face tattoo is definitely a solution to socialization problems.

Kirill, 20 years old

Last time, when my girlfriend and I counted (And that was six months ago), I turned out 70 something tattoos. There are eight on their faces.

When I first decided to get a tattoo, I was 15 years old. Then I met a girl - those great teenage feelings. When we parted, I decided to fill her portrait in the entire back. I found out how much it costs, and I realized that I would rather refrain. It's been about a year. I had a birthday, found free money, and I thought: “Damn, I still want a tattoo.”

As a result, I got a tattoo on my stomach - a rose with wings, the size of two palms. It turned out 2,500 rubles, but I bargained for up to 2,400 rubles. I had this tattoo done for five hours. It is, of course, small, but due to the fact that it includes many colors, it took a long time to make it. After the third hour, I had the feeling that a knife was being driven back and forth through my intestines. I say to the master: “Let me give you 2,400 rubles, and for 100 I will buy cigarettes, because this is hell.” After that, I vowed never to get tattoos. But then he changed his mind, of course.

The most painful thing was to get a tattoo on the Adam's apple. As soon as the contours began to fill in with brown, I felt bad - I went to the toilet, and I vomited from the pain. After the session, I was supposed to meet with a friend. I get out of the subway car, stand in the center of the hall and see my friend go down the stairs. I walk towards her, but then the pain from the session catches up with me, I turn off and fall to the floor - I lay like that for about five seconds. But the tattoo healed in just two days.

The last time my girlfriend and I counted (and that was six months ago), I had 70-something tattoos. There are eight on the face. There will be three more soon. I want to play with the man on the left cheek in a more interesting way, otherwise he just looks like a big spot. The last tattoo I did was on my knee about a month ago, and a lotus on my forehead. I want to somehow streamline everything done, because I have been tattooing for four years. And by them you can notice the changes in my philosophy of life - as in the painting of some artist.

Recently I had an interesting story related to one tattoo. My friends and I went to Yalta for the festival this summer. Then we hitchhiked to Krasnodar. A friend of mine lives in Rostov, and we stayed for a day with him. As a result, we went on a spree, and I met a tattoo artist. The next day I wake up and go to get a tattoo. I look at the sketches of the master and understand that everything is beautiful, but not catchy. And then he takes out a dusty sketch from somewhere, and there from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas instead of the main character bat in glasses, with a mouthpiece, in panama. And I think: “And the trip was like that.”

Initially, I had small tattoos on my face, which I did at the age of 17, but just six months ago I covered them all with large works. Mom was very worried and is still worried. She, of course, wants me to bring them together, but she is already calmer. On the other hand, she sees that everything in my life turns out little by little. She knows what my goals are and what my values are. And my mom is proud of me. Of course, the sister sometimes teases. She has one tattoo, which she made at the age of 16 - a hieroglyph on the shoulder blade. But that's all.

In general, every day there are different situations related to tattoos. For example, I read a book and feel: someone is watching. I automatically turn my head to the right and make eye contact with someone. Sometimes I notice some kind of rejection from others, but this, I think, is a projection of your inner state. What you radiate is what you receive.

If you notice that some kind of hostility is coming towards you, it means that you yourself allowed yourself to radiate it. I try to be neutral about it. But there were different cases. For example, once for my birthday, a non-Russian wanted to beat me right in the subway. He says: "I'll drop you now." And literally after three minutes of talking, he gave me a Nuts chocolate bar and left the car.

I recently ran into a problem. My girlfriend and I came to see an apartment for rent. The hosts there are Armenians, very kind, interesting and hospitable. But before us, literally ten minutes later, two girls came on the same issue. We immediately decided to take an apartment and were ready to pay for a couple of months in advance. And the owners say: “No, the girls are still the first to come.”

Then they went to see the next apartment - a "kopeck piece" on Mosfilmovskaya. On the phone, the owner of the apartment communicated with us cordially. And when we met, he immediately became taciturn. He began to merge: "The owner is my wife, I will talk to her and give an answer until the morning." Naturally, he refused, but he and his wife argued that we were still too young a couple for them and they would like to rent an apartment to more serious people. Although I work, and the girl has no problems with money either. No one can honestly say why. And the one who says, I will shake hands.

At first, tattoos were just decoration for me. Two years later, I realized that they still contain some meaning. Began to be more selective to score, to look at the quality. When you get tattoos for a long time, and then you consciously look at yourself in the mirror, you see the course of your life. Last year I started getting tattoos very rarely, but more serious.

There are a couple of foreign tattoo artists that I would like to get into one day. In general, if it is really needed, fate itself will develop in such a way that I will get to them. As they say in ancient myths, you do not choose the artifact, but the artifact chooses you. Something similar with tattoos.

Dasha, 27 years old

One day one grandmother, seeing me in a minibus, decided to wash with holy water

I made the first tattoo on the left hand, and the last one on the nose, a few dots. They have no hidden meaning. It's just that one evening there was a party at Armagh, and I wanted to paint my face. I took a black marker right at work, drew dots on my nose and walked like that all day, and by the evening I realized that I wanted them forever. That evening I went and did it.

Almost all my tattoos appear this way - I never think for a long time. Sometimes I draw them myself, but some places I can't reach. If I see that the master has drawn something cool, I fill it right there. There are people who come to the salon and it starts: "Well, I don't know what I want." If you don't know, then you don't need to. It doesn't happen to me.

Now I work in the store "Trajectory". I specifically choose a job where there will be no problems with tattoos, and I immediately mention in my resume that I have tattoos. When people see me, of course, they are surprised.

I don't know exactly how many tattoos I have. Over thirty. But I still have a lot of places on my body without a tattoo. For example, the back is clean. But that's for now. I have six or seven tattoos on my face, including white ones. Perhaps they even glow in the dark under some kind of fluorescent lighting - I have not tested.

I got my first tattoo at the age of 18. Then it was not as popular as it is now, the tattoo was small, and at the university everyone was fine with it. They said it was cool, asked if it hurt. Yes, it hurt, the wrist is a terrible place to get a tattoo. In extreme cases, there is a painkiller that helps. Until recently, I did not use it and always was against it. I thought: “This is a tattoo, you have to endure it.”

But one day I decided to get a tattoo almost on the ribs, it lasted an hour, and it was the worst hour of my life. They never anointed me with painkillers, and I regretted it very much. It was so painful that I didn't even look at the tattoo when it was finished. It also hurt to do it on the palms.

When I got my first tattoo, my mother gave money for it, and I assured her that there would be only one tattoo and that it would not really be visible. But then the second followed, the third and so on - already on a global scale. Mom, of course, was very upset, I was even ashamed. And until now, she constantly reproaches me: “You said that this is the last one!” And dad scoffs, teases all the time, jokes about tattooed people. He says that only prisoners and bad aunts and uncles do this.

Maybe the fact is that dad is a man of the old school and is rather conservative. Still, my mother is probably more adequate about my tattoos. And my sister, for example, likes them at all, although she always says that I'm sick. She has children, my nieces, they love to look at me.

Personally, I don't belong to any parties for interest in tattoos, but I have another party - skaters, and among them there are a lot of tattooed guys. Not on the same scale as me, of course. Often they look and say: “Lord, how do you live with this on your face?”

Maybe I began to pay a lot of attention to this, but I don’t like the way tattoos are treated in Russia. It's terrible when you ride in transport and try not to notice the views. They openly stare at you and shake their heads - they say that you disfigured yourself, this is a nightmare. I try not to react in any way. But there are also people who like it: they raise their thumbs up and say: “Wow, cool tattoos!” (or something similar). Not a day goes by without questions about face tattoos from the series “Did it hurt or not?” and how white tattoos are made.

Once one grandmother, seeing me in a minibus, decided to wash herself with holy water. I hear the phrase "mutilated myself" quite often. Again, I don't care, I did and will continue to do tattoos, because I like it. Probably even more like the process than the result.

I get tattoos in salons with friends. But not for free: I appreciate their time, and the material is also quite expensive. Although, of course, I hit at a discount. In the past, it seems to me, tattoos were more expensive than they are now. My most expensive tattoo cost me 20 thousand. It is all colored, takes up half the caviar. There is a sloth with a skateboard, my friend Dima Tabachny made it for me - he draws very cool.

Tattoos for me are like marks of some periods of my life. Now here I am planning to make a black sleeve on the right arm. I just want more black. This is my favorite color and it looks really cool.

My life has changed a lot since I got my face tattoo. Probably no one looks at other people like that. I even rejoice that winter has come, when you can relax and put on gloves so that no one is staring. Plus the hood helps too. They say to me: “Well, how do you live with so many tattoos - they probably bother you?” No, they don't bother me, I don't even notice them when I look at myself. This is a part of me.

Vitaly, 24 years old

To work, it seems they took me just for tattoos, because I cut my hair, to be honest, not very

I made my very first tattoo at the age of 17 - on my arm, a heart with birds. Then, of course, he filled it with other tattoos. The last two I did last month - finished off the neck and made another one on the face, in the form of a knife. Besides that, I have a black hand and a lot of stuff. In general, I am packed quite tightly - only the chest (it is in contours) and the back are clean. Arms and legs are already fully occupied.

I always get tattoos on different people. Basically, these are some close acquaintances or friends - some work in salons, some beat at home, some in basements. I never went to any luxury salons - only to my own, to proven guys.

It is important for me that a person understands the matter, so that it is pleasant to communicate with him. The last time, for example, I made a tattoo with a female colleague: she recently started tattooing, but I wondered how she beats.

I can't say exactly how many tattoos I have. For example, if the arm is all black up to the elbow, how much is it? One? I don't count them.

I got my first tattoo on my face three years ago. Now I have four of them. My mom still scolds me. And she doesn't even know about the last tattoo. Mom is very negative about tattoos, but she had to put up with it. Dad doesn't care, he wants a tattoo himself, but mom forbids him. My brother also got a tattoo, but he doesn't want one anymore.

Mostly all my friends have tattoos too, plus I hang out with people who like punk rock. Probably tattoos are a subcultural decision. Although, perhaps, this is only the case here, in Russia. In Europe, there are police officers with clogged sleeves, and a presidential candidate with tattoos on his face - he ran in the Czech Republic. Tattoos are common there.

I never thought about what tattoos mean to me. It's most likely a decoration. At first, everything was very thought out and each of my tattoos meant something, but then I began to just choose the right place and image - so that it looked normal. By the way, I do not divide people into tattooed and not tattooed. A tattoo is just a piece of jewelry. Someone wears chains, someone inserts gold teeth, someone cuts off their ears.

Recently he beat a tattoo - and she went a little over another - and it was quite noticeably painful. I do not know - maybe it depends on the hand of the master. I used to get old tattoos, and nothing. It was most painful to do on the chest and on the head. There are bones - probably because of this. On the neck is also unpleasant, but tolerable. They say it hurts a lot on the ribs. My friend in front of me scored one girl's stomach, she lay and cried. Maybe it's because the muscles are there.

At the sight of me, grandmothers are quite seriously baptized. About once a month there are conversations from the series “Oh, granddaughter, what have you done to yourself?”. But they are often praised. There were a million dialogues on this score - all of the same type: “Where are you hitting? Why are you hitting?"

After I hammered my hands and neck, I had no doubts about my face. Now, if I first decided to score a face, and then everything else, then yes - I probably would doubt it. When I hammered brushes, I was offered a job in the authorities - an assistant investigator. It was clear that you could get such a position only without tattoos. I thought carefully and realized that I did not want to work in the police, which I do not like very much.

Last summer I started working as a barber, and before that I was a bartender. It seems that they hired me only for tattoos, because, frankly, I don’t cut my hair very well. Ha ha, joke. There used to be circus performances, freak shows - I'm also something of a local freak at work.

The fashion for such jewelry was introduced by the Canadian actor and model Rick Genest, known as a zombie. Images adorn his entire body. The skull tattoo on the face is especially impressive. Using the request of a photo of a tattoo on the face on the Internet, you can easily find this extraordinary young man. After his filming in the video of the famous Lady Gaga, tattooed madness swallowed the whole world. Now almost everyone knows him, ask anyone on the street about zombieboy, and most likely you will hear something like: "Oh, is that the guy with the tattoo on his face from Gaga's video?" or "I know it's the actor with the face tattoo." By the way, much earlier, Mike Tyson adorned his head with an abstract tattoo that looks extremely harmonious.

General characteristics of the body part

A tattoo is a very bold step for many, let alone people who decorate their faces with drawings! The head is one of the most delicate areas on the body. Given the thinness and sensitivity of the skin, this procedure is incredibly painful. The vessels are close, and therefore, one can never be 100% sure of the result. Not every master will agree to such a complex and risky procedure.

The most popular face tattoos for men

Although such tattoos are rare, men's tattoos on the face have a long history. Initially, various decorations on the head were made for the purpose of intimidation, or to boast of victories. Anyway, they had functional value. Now it is considered beautiful, and no one is shocked by a guy or a girl with a tattoo on her face walking down the street. It becomes habitual, and for some it is generally the height of aesthetics.

So, let's figure out what tattoos on the face mean? We do not live in prehistoric times, and we no longer try to scare off enemies with a terrifying look. Is there any reason? Or is it just a tribute to fashion?

A person with a tattoo on his face - subconsciously wants to stand out, become brighter and more original. For some, this is a way of self-defense, an opportunity to isolate themselves from society or identify themselves with any group of people. Often, beautiful tattoo on the face, can be found among athletes. Various motivations and reminders help to achieve success and not forget about the goal.

For men, tattoos are popular in styles:

  • tribal,
  • ornamental,
  • blackwork

Such tattoos use monochrome images or with 2-3 colors. Sometimes they draw very colorful scenes or simply disfigure the face with low-quality scribbles.

The most popular face tattoos for girls

Face tattoos for girls, as a rule, are done for aesthetic purposes, and do not carry a deep meaning. Usually, small tattoos are stuffed on the face, adding zest to the image or hiding a cosmetic defect. For example, a mole tattoo on the face can hide a small scar, or add charm to the “fly”, which many dream of. If nature has not endowed you with moles, the tattoo artist will put an end where you want.

It is the disguise of flaws in appearance that most often motivates the female half to such an extraordinary act. Scars or birthmarks are not a problem, several visits to the salon and instead of an unfortunate misunderstanding, a masterpiece flaunts on the face.

Every year the tattoo industry is gaining more and more popularity. Previously, no one expected bold transformations from girls, and they could even be condemned for it. But now, if a girl got a tattoo on her face, this, perhaps, will surprise a little. Besides, if the image serves to enhance the appearance, why not?
